To begin the eSignal Online Agreement process you should have received an MachTrader Activation Information email or letter in the mail. This email includes important information on how to start the installation process. If you cannot find this email in your Inbox, try searching your junk or spam mail folder for an email that came from esignalmail@mail.esignal.com with the subject MachTrader Activation Information.
Included with this email is a link to start the installation process. And your new username and password. Once you have completely read the email or letter, click on the link to complete your Online Agreements. Or you can copy the paste this link into your web browsers address field. You can also use the link provided here.
This will bring you to the Online Agreements page. Here you will need to type in your new MachTrader username and password. Refer to your activation email for your correct user name and password. Your user name and password is case sensitive.
All capital and lowercase letters have to be entered exactly as they appear in the email. This example is incorrect as the S in student is not capital and the T in trading is not capital. This is an example of how to enter in your user name and password correctly.
Once you have entered your username and password, click the Submit button to continue. To receive real time data, you are required to read and complete the Terms and Conditions and Exchange Agreements.
Please keep in mind that there are multiple sections of the Online Agreement to be completed. Once you are at the bottom it is Mandatory for All subscribers to complete Section A. You only have to complete section B if you are an agent and are signing on behalf of the subscriber. Once you are finished, click Signature Confirmed to continue.
Next you will be taken to a web page were you start the download and installation process. Click on the download button to launch the MachTrader Install web site.
On this page you will be able to download MachTrader, view install instructions, read release notes and watch MachTrader training videos. Any time you receive notice of an update to MachTrader, you will be directed to this page. To start the download process, click on the Download button.
The next page is a reminder page for the Online Agreements. If you have not completed the online Agreements, click the eSignal Online Agreements button to restart the process. If you have completed the online agreements, click the download MachTrader button to start the download.
You will see a popup window asking you to either Run or Save the installation file. Click the Run button to continue.
Internet explorer will automatically display a security warning asking you if you want to run this software. Click Run to continue. This will start the download process. Depending on your connection speed, this could take from 1 minute to several minutes
Once the download is completed, the install will automatically start.
At the welcome screen, click next to continue.
Next is the MachTrader License agreement. Once you have completely read the license agreement, you will have to choose the I accept the terms radio button and click next to continue.
Now MachTrader is ready to be installed. Click the Install button to start the copy process.
This screen will show the file copy progress. Depending on the speed of your computer, this could take several minutes.
Once MachTrader is installed the eSignal data manager will start its install. Once the welcome screen has displayed, click the next button to continue.
Next is the eSignal license agreement. Once you have completely read it and agree, click the yes button to continue.
Click the next button to install the eSignal Data Manager in the default location.
On this screen, you will be required to type in your MachTrader Username and Password. Please refer to your MachTrader Activation Information Email for this information. It is important that you type the username and password exactly as it is shown in the email, including all capital and lower case letters. Once you have completed entering in your username and password, click the next button to continue.
The data manager will now complete the install. Once all files are done copying.
Once the copy file process is complete, click the Finish Button to Complete the install. You will now have a new icon on your desktop called MachTrader. You are now ready to launch MachTrader for the first time. To do this, double click on the MachTrader icon.
The first screen will be the log in screen. You will need to type in your username as password. Again, refer to your MachTrader Activation Information email for your exact user name and password. It is important that you type the username and password exactly as it is shown in the email, including all capital and lower case letters. Once you have completed entering in your username and password, click the ok button to continue. This log in screen will remember your username and password each time you launch MachTrader.
In your task bar, the eSignal Data Manager will automatically launch and connect. It will turn green when it has successfully connected.
To open the program you can either find the icon on your desktop as shown below or click on Start - All Programs - Dynamic Trend - MachTrader - MachTrader.
The eSignal Data Manager will stay red if it cannot connect. Contact Technical Support at 1-888-831-6642 to resolve this issue.
